Day 2: Year 6 in Holland making cheese and clogs!

Day 2: Year 6 in Holland making cheese and clogs!

Everyone slept well last night and we’re up, with lunches made and eating breakfast ready for a 9am departure for Clara Maria cheese and clog farm.

We arrived to the ever charismatic farm owner, Kees, who showed us how he makes clogs. We then made our own garlic flavoured cheese, played in a hay barn, fed the baby cows and went shopping! A brilliant morning had by all!

After lunch we went to Madurodam model village. The children explored the area with interest and excitement! Lots of photos taken of everything!

The weather has been fantastic! Very hot, clear blue skies! Sun cream is in order!

After dinner, we played mini golf…with some very peculiar golf rules being used! A nice way to end a fab first day of activities!

Some very tired children and adults are calling for an early night!
