Day 4 of the Year 6 Residential to the Isle of Wight

Day 4 of the Year 6 Residential to the Isle of Wight

Day 4
Our last full day of activities today saw another fun filled day in the sun! A stronger wind meant much better conditions for windsurfing, dinghying and keel boating and the kayakers again enjoyed themselves. Dinner of sausage and mash was lovely; we have been treated with the food all week!
The children have packed their bags ready for our departure tomorrow afternoon. They are filling in a ‘skills for life’ questionnaire – which they also did at the beginning of the week. The questionnaire allows the children to reflect on how they have improved key skills throughout the week such as: resilience, teamwork and independence amongst others.
We’re all looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow around 5pm. We will keep you updated on our progress as we know more tomorrow.
