We try to link our DT links with Quest and science topics. Year 6 have designed and made beach buggies from their ‘Holiday Show Quest’, Year 5 have taken part in the Lego House Challenge, Year 4 have taken part in the K’nex Challenge and are visiting Milestone School to share their facilities and work alongside their students for Food Technology. Year 3 have enjoyed making healthy sandwiches and fruit skewers, linked to their Teeth and Eating project. Year 2 have made 3D mini beasts while Year 1 have designed and made Teddy Carts for their Quest about toys. In the Foundation Stage DT is child led.

The school provides a caring and supportive environment to children and there is a clear emphasis on enabling children to be the best they can be — both academically and as “people”.
