Although term 5 was short, we have enjoyed doing lots of fun activities.
We learnt about people who help us; the children had great fun exploring a fire engine. The children were able to sit in the engine, use the hose and even tried some firefighting uniform on.
Over the term, we did various craft activities from painting our own police officers to making doctor hats. We all learnt a firefighter song, which all children and staff enjoyed singing along too! The children thoroughly enjoyed playing in the role play area which was transformed into a doctors surgery.
Planting and growing our own sunflowers seeds was exciting too, the children learnt to care for them as they took turns watering them daily.
This term we have also taken part in a sponsored muddy puddle walk, the children loved jumping in muddy puddles, to help raise money for Save the Children charity.
