We follow the philosophy of the PYP curriculum to take part in the rapidly changing world. DT encourages children to become creative problem-solvers, both as individuals and as part of a group. Through the study of DT children combine practical skills with an understanding of aesthetic, social and environmental issues. This allows them to reflect on and evaluate designs and technology and its impact. The children will develop skills with design, making, evaluating processes and products across a range of skills as well as food hygiene.
